While the quilt blocks look intricate, the instructions break down all the units into manageable, makeable units. The patterns are aimed at teaching lessons, from accurate piecing to making setting triangles, inserting floaters, making borders fit, and using paper foundation piecing. A primer on using paper foundations is included with block 1. Finishes at 84 1/2" square. The Shop Guide is available for $45 and includes cutting charts for 20 kits along with a complete set of nonreproducible patterns to make a shop sample.
